About Us

Community Education

 

The Community Education Department provides a variety of academic, enrichment and recreation activities for the students of the Saginaw Public Schools and citizens of our community.  Our goal is to provide opportunities and services that go beyond the normal school day to enrich our students, their families and the community.

Programs include:

  • After the Bell Rings
  • Before the Bell Rings
  • City Wide Elementary Spelling Bee
  • Enrichment Courses
  • Hot Times: Summer Youth Activities
  • Humanities Series
  • REAP (Recreation, Enrichment & Academic Programs)
  • Saginaw County Science & Engineering Fair
  • Youth Sports Program

The Community Education Department is in the Ruben Daniels Center, 1903 N. Niagara. The Daniels Center is near the corner of West Genesee Avenue. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
