Loomis Math, Science & Technology Academy
The Loomis Math, Science & Technology Academy is a brand new, state-of-the-art
facility with a unique mission—to provide students in grades PreK through
5 with the math and science foundation they will need to compete in today’s
high tech world. The school is open to all students in Saginaw County. There
are no entrance requirements. The curriculum incorporates math and science

MicroSociety
Arthur Eddy K-8 Academy
The Arthur Eddy K-8 Academy, beginning its fifth year of
operation, is designed around the MicroSociety concept, which brings
learning to life for over 450 students by putting them in a real
functioning mini-community. The Eddy MicroSociety contains markets,
business ventures, government agencies, and cultural organizations,
all of which are created and operated by students. The Academy students
operate 29 business ventures and 12 entrepreneurial ventures. For

Single Gender Education
Longfellow and Webber Elementary
Longfellow Elementary and Webber Elementary provide single-gender
education in grades pre-kindergarten through 5. The schools feature
separate classes in the core subject areas for boys and girls at
each grade level, high academic standards and expectations for all
students, a mandatory uniform policy, and required parental involvement.
Male and female students are integrated for art, music, physical
education, lunch and after-school programs.
