Parents play a significant role in their students achievement. Saginaw Public Schools parent involvement model is designed to improve student achievement by making parents and families full partners in the educational process. Each SPS school has developed its own parent involvement plan under the direction of Natalie Jansorn, director of program development for the National Network of Partnership Schools at Johns Hopkins University.
