Saginaw High School was first established in 1865 as East Side High School. Located at 3100 Webber Street, it is one of two high schools located in the district of Saginaw. Saginaw High School is recognized by NCA (North Central Association of Colleges and Schools) as an accredited public high school.

Mission Statement: Saginaw High is committed to ensuring a safe and academic environment where the students will become academically proficient, life long learners, and productive citizens.

Vision Statement: Saginaw High School is developing a school where students become respectful citizens and global competitors through academic proficiency and lifelong learning in a safe school environment.

Purpose Statement: Our purpose is to help Saginaw High School students achieve their academic and personal success.

The Mighty Marchin' Trojan Band, led by band director Ms. Jeannine Coughlin, is one of the many highlights of Saginaw High School, winning many awards across the country.

The Band has been invited to the thanksgiving day parade in Miami, Florida, participated in the 2012 Sugar Bowl Halftime and most recently, traveled to Jacksonville, Florida to perform at the 2015 TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.

On January 12, 2015, the Saginaw High School Mighty Marchin' Trojan Band was honored for its achievements by Saginaw City Council.
