Application Procedures

Please be advised that we select candidates to be interviewed from our application pool. Consequently, it is to an applicant’s advantage to have a complete application file submitted for our review. We request that you provide all of the following in order to have a complete credential file:

Completed application blank (available in the Human Resources Office); Michigan Teaching Certificate and/or Vocational Authorization (photocopy please do not send originals);

Resume;
Transcripts (photocopy acceptable);
College placement file (student teaching evaluations); and
References, names, addresses and phone numbers.

Applicants for a teaching position must possess or be eligible to possess a Michigan Teaching Certificate. Candidates must be certified and qualified for the position on the date their employment begins.

Please keep us informed of any name, address, or phone number changes such that we can contact you when an interview is to be scheduled. Also, we request that you inform us should you secure employment elsewhere, such that we can remove your application from our file.
