Vision Statement

Arthur Hill High School uses collaboration, reflection, and instructional technology as essential tools, preparing all students’ to excel in the workforce or post-secondary education. Our faculty and staff stress the importance of integrity and tenacity through modeling and reinforcing high character standards.


Arthur Hill celebrated 100 years of North Central Accreditation (NCA). The NCA’s fundamental belief is that standards and their application make a difference in the quality of schooling.

1973 AHS Football Team

The 1973 Arthur Hill Lumberjack football team, coached by George Ihler, is still the only Class A high school football team in Michigan state high school history to complete a season untied, undefeated and unscored upon and outscoring its opponents 443–0. It was the first Class A football team to do so since 1933.
