Welcome to Jessie Rouse Elementary!
As the Principal, I am excited to work with you and your student(s) to build the Jessie Rouse family! I have been an educator in the Saginaw Public Schools for almost thirty years serving as a teacher, coach, and administrator. . I live in the city of Saginaw with my two children, Olivia and Jaxson, and love my community. I attended Hope College, completed Student Teaching in Chicago, and finished my Master’s Degree at Saginaw Valley State University. I love books and encouraging kids to enjoy reading the right book for them. I believe all students deserve the best public education, and that we are here to provide that opportunity.
The Jessie Rouse staff is a family that cares about the students, parents, and community. . We are dedicated to helping our students achieve their highest level of success in an environment that is safe, welcoming, and supportive of all students. We value personal responsibility, growing students academically, and supporting social-emotional learning. Relationships are the foundation of the work we do with our students, families, and community. We are a hard-working, caring, and committed staff ready to educate the next generation.
