The Mighty Marchin’ Trojan Band continues to represent the Saginaw High School community in several local events such as the 100 Days of non-Violence Parade, the Saginaw Christmas PRIDE Parade, the Cinco De Mayo Parade, and the Memorial Day Parade. Members of the Mighty Marchin’ Trojan Band were nominated to participate and perform at the 2012 Sugar Bowl. The following members of the Mighty Marchin’ Trojan Band were nominated to participate in the 2013 BCS Championship All-Star Marching Band in Florida: Raymond Bady, Johnna Johnson, Marquavis Johnson, and Jalen Parham.

In 1993, the Trojan Band Program hardly existed. With only thirteen members, the re-building process began. Under the direction of Ms. Jeannine Coughlin, better known as Ms. J.C., the Mighty Marchin’ Trojan Band has become one of the best bands in the state, known nationally as well as internationally.

The Trojan Band program consists of three levels of bands: Band 9 for the beginning students, Varsity band for the intermediate students, and the Mighty Marchin’ Trojan Band and Drum Line. The ultimate goal for students involved in the band program is to earn a position within the Mighty Marchin’ Trojan Band.
