Physicals are needed to participate in all sports:
A note from the School Based Health Center: The health center (as well as Ms. JC) has the sports physical cards that the students need. In order to get a physical at the health center, students need to be signed up with the SBHC (the consent forms are in the Health Center and the main office). The SBHC can typically get students in for a physical 1-2 days after they come in to make an appointment. The closer we get to the season starting the busier we get, and it may take 3-4 days to get them in. If the students have Medicaid insurance there is no charge to get the physical as long as they haven’t already been to their primary care Doctor (if they have one of our doctors at a different site we can look this up for them too). If they have private insurance there’s a $20 charge.
