Social Studies
At Saginaw High, the Social Studies Department offers “U.S. History” for 9th Graders and “World History” for 10th Graders. Seniors are required to take one semester of Government and Economics in order to become eligible for graduation.
The Social Studies Department also offers, Sociology and Psychology as electives. Students may select these classes in order to round out their interest in the area of social studies.
As a department, we are always on the lookout for activities that will allow our students to prepare themselves for the future.
