Dear Seniors,
Congratulations! You are quickly approaching the end of your high school academic career and the beginning of a new chapter in your lives. Although this is a very exciting year for you it is extremely important to remain focused on your academics and ensure you are completing all the necessary requirements to graduate.
It is vital that you complete your best work during all of your classes, which are preparing you for a successful future. Maintaining a high Grade Point Average (GPA) is an essential part of your Senior year because your final GPA will follow you as you expand your education. Your attendance is necessary, so make sure you are attending school each day. When you miss school it is easy to fall behind in your classes, and having excessive absences will make it extremely difficult to catch up on missing work. Also, be mindful of deadlines. Many important decisions will need to be made this year. All of the choices you make now will have a direct impact on your future. If you meet deadlines and fulfill your duties now your transition will be that much easier in years to come.
Finally remember to enjoy your last year here at Saginaw High School. These are memories you will have for a lifetime. Participate in as many extra curricular activities as you can because this is your last opportunity. Congratulations class of 2016 you are almost there!
