Greetings Saginaw High Community!
We are so excited to begin the school year at Saginaw High School! We will continue to focus on improving the quality of education for all of our students. We have increased our honors and Advanced Placement course offerings for all of our students. We also offer academic intervention for struggling students with increased time for reading and math. Our extended day program includes, tutoring in all core areas, credit recovery and preparation for standardized tests.
Continuing the rich athletic history of Saginaw High, we offer opportunities for students to develop their talents. All of our sports participate in the Saginaw Valley League, and they include:
Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, Basketball, Wrestling, Tennis, Soccer, Track, and Cheerleading.
Last, but not least, we offer a world class band program, with our Marching band in the fall, and concert band in the winter.
We are committed to providing a high quality education for our students. Each year, the school provides a School Improvement Plan to the Michigan Department of Education. Our goals include implementation of curriculum and instruction that will improve our student achievement. You may access our Annual Education Report on the school’s website.
