Tonight (Oct. 24)-First soccer games at Arthur Hill at 5:00 PM (all grades). Students need to bring their cleats, shin guards, and a water bottle. This is just a fun game for the students to explore soccer, let's all cheer them on!

There is no Soccer Practice and no Cheerleading practice today, Monday. Loomis will have our movie night today. Students stay after school for the movie. It cost $1.00 movie, $1.00 - water, $1.00 -popcorn, and $2.00 - candy. The movie will be over at 5:30, please be on time for pick up. Thank you.
Loomis Halloween (Oct. 31st) will be a College and Career Theme. Students may wear a costume of a career/job they are interested in. Students will explore that day college and career opportunities with guest speakers. College or Career costumes is what we are asking the students to wear.

This afternoon (10/5) at 2:20 p.m., FEMA (and the FCC) will conduct a national test of the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS). This alert will cause cell phones to receive a National Alert (with a loud tone) during this time. The Alert will still come through even if a person's cell phone is set to silent. Because the test is taking place at approximately 2:20 p.m. (during the school day), I wanted you to be aware. The test will be transmitted for 30 minutes, but you will only receive the alert once. If, for some reason, the test does not occur today(as scheduled), the backup testing date is October 11th. For more information, you can read the FEMA article below.
