It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Coach Marshall Thomas, a true legend in Saginaw Public Schools and the Saginaw community. Coach T dedicated decades of his life to shaping young athletes and building a legacy of excellence at the former Saginaw High School. His leadership, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to students extended far beyond the basketball court—he inspired generations to strive for greatness in all aspects of life.
Earlier this year, we proudly voted to name the Saginaw High School gymnasium in his honor, a lasting tribute to his extraordinary impact. Coach T will forever be remembered not only for his championship titles but for his character, his love for his players, and his devotion to our community.
