It is with deep sadness that Saginaw Public School District announces the passing of Mr. Kevin Rooker, Secretary of the Saginaw Board of Education.
Mr. Rooker, a retired teacher from Carrollton Public Schools, was elected to the Board in November of 2022 and was sworn in January 2023.
Mr. Rooker was involved in our schools and community. He volunteered at numerous school functions and was a familiar face at community gatherings and celebrations.
