More than 200 graduating seniors were recognized for their academic achievements and future educational plans during the Saginaw Community Foundation’s annual Excellence in Education event held June 3, 2026, at Horizons Conference Center.

The event honored the 227 members of the Saginaw Promise Scholars Class of 2026, who received award envelopes containing information about the scholarships they earned through the Saginaw Promise program.

Students gathered with family members, educators, and community supporters to celebrate this important milestone as they prepare to pursue higher education and career opportunities after graduation.

The Saginaw Promise scholarship continues to play a vital role in helping local students achieve their educational goals by providing access to postsecondary education and workforce training opportunities. Since its inception, the program has helped remove financial barriers for thousands of Saginaw students and families.

Saginaw Public Schools congratulates all 227 Saginaw Promise Scholars on this remarkable achievement and wishes them continued success as they begin the next chapter of their educational journeys.
