Saginaw Public Schools is proud to announce that Mr. Rodney Woods has been selected as the new Principal of Jessie Loomis Math, Science, & Technology Academy.
A proud SPSD graduate, Mr. Woods returns to the district with more than two decades of experience in education and school leadership. Throughout his career, he has served students and families as a teacher, counselor, dean, assistant principal, and principal.
Mr. Woods earned a Bachelor of Science from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. He also holds a Michigan School Administrator Certificate and is a graduate of the Gerstacker Fellowship Program.
His connection to Saginaw extends beyond his professional experience. Mr. Woods and his wife, Jennifer, have been married for 28 years and are the proud parents of two sons, Chaz and Keason. As lifelong advocates for education and community, the Woods family is honored to continue serving the students, families, and staff of Saginaw Public Schools.
Mr. Woods brings experience, dedication, and a strong commitment to helping students succeed. We are excited to welcome him to Jessie Loomis and look forward to the leadership and care he will bring to the school community.
