Saginaw Public Schools was featured on WNEM TV5 this week with a segment highlighting our gifted campus, which includes Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy (SASA) and Handley Elementary — both ranked among Michigan’s top gifted schools.
SASA Principal Kasydra Goode-Tibbs joined WNEM to talk about what makes these programs unique and how families can get involved. She walked viewers through the testing process for SASA, explained how students qualify, and shared upcoming information days for both SASA and Handley so families can learn more about the programs firsthand.
The interview gave parents and community members useful insights into gifted education opportunities within SPSD — including how to navigate the application and testing process and where to go for more information.
Thank you to Kasydra Goode-Tibbs and WNEM TV5 for sharing this important message about opportunities for gifted learners in our district.
