Arshen Baldwin

Saginaw Public Schools is proud to announce Arshen Baldwin’s new role as assistant principal at Saginaw United High School.

Mrs. Baldwin is a passionate educator and community advocate with over 15 years of experience in K–12 and higher education.

She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership (Principalship) from Saginaw Valley State University and is certified in Learning Disabilities and Restorative Practices.

Her educational journey includes roles as a teacher, academic coach, volleyball and tennis coach, and adjunct faculty member at SVSU’s College of Education. Her experience spans everything from special education instruction to post-secondary Anatomy & Physiology courses.

Mrs. Baldwin is a respected leader in district-wide initiatives, including student support systems, academic intervention, parent engagement, and increasing graduation rates for at-risk youth.

Outside of schools, Mrs. Baldwin is deeply active in the Saginaw community. She serves as vice chair of the Delta College Board of Trustees, teaches at her church, and is the community outreach coordinator for a local enrichment center.

Her community impact includes youth mentoring, neighborhood revitalization, and volunteer work in local sports programs.

Her leadership reflects a commitment to equity, opportunity, and student empowerment.
