The Saginaw United Phoenix boys varsity basketball team captured a Division 1 District title on Friday night.
Saginaw United defeated the Heritage Hawks 74–64 on Friday, February 27, earning the title of Division 1 District Champions.
The win marks a strong step forward for the program and reflects the hard work and determination shown throughout the season.
With the district title secured, the Phoenix now advance to regional play. Saginaw United will face Rockford on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Alma High School as they continue their postseason run.
