Each year, Lake Michigan Credit Union's Roots in Education program awards twenty-five (25) $1,000 grants to teachers across Michigan and Florida who embody a specific word. This year, we are honoring teachers who are optimistic and bring a cheerful energy to their classroom. The winning teachers go above and beyond and are recognized for their optimism.
