Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy was recently ranked 5th Best High School in Michigan, by U.S. News & World Report. Rankings are based on weighted factors that include: College Readiness, College Curriculum breath, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance and graduation rate.
SASA made HUGE improvements for 2024 to rank 5th from 18th in 2023.

Recently, Saginaw's Academy of Excellence (SPSD/Delta College's Dual Enrolled Students from Saginaw High, Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy and Arthur Hill) went on a field trip to Jackson State University in Mississippi. They had the opportunity to visit the campus and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum. They cam back inspired, enriched and with an experience they'll never forget! SASA lost power and phone service. Students will be released at 10AM. Saginaw, Bay City & Midland busses will be taking students home for those that normally ride those busses. For car riders, please pick up students.
